Looking back, working with the Logos Team was certainly an experience I am glad to have had. John and his team arrived on site and immediately picked up the challenging task of clearing a Fab out with over 350 pieces of equipment, with very little discussion and started.

And when I say started, they moved. No hectic, no shouting, no long questioning - they got on and did the job.

John has a team of professionals who work very efficiently together and very fast indeed. I've seen a number of bigger Organisations doing similar work but they don't compete at all with Logos.

While preparing our company proposal to tender for the removal project of various systems from NXP Semiconductors Germany, I required to incorporate the services of a successful and reliable machinery removal team.

Having worked with John Summers in the past, I was please to meet up with him again and find that he had formed his own company in Logos Logistics Limited, and could offer me a tailor-made removal and packing solution, fit for the project in Germany.

I had no hesitation in forging ahead with Logos to negotiate a suitable contract.

As our project was due to commence, we faced some challenges which delayed the start date and required a great deal of flexibility from all parties, and I am delighted to say that Logos worked with me to ensure we remained on course to facilitate the move.

As the whole project was in Germany, John and the team had no problems facilitating and sourcing all materials required.

I had the opportunity to work with John Summers and the team from Logos Logistics Limited earlier in 2008 when they travelled to Dresden in the east of Germany to assist Plastic Logic in the installation of over sixty items of major processing equipment in our new facility.

I found their work to be of a very high standard with specific emphasis on forward planning, risk assessment, safety and efficiency. All work was completed within schedule and I found the team to be responsive, communicative, forward-thinking and hard-working.

LD BOILERS

The project we had in hand was difficult. The main powerplant at the Levi clothes production facility had to be stripped down and removed. The main boiler system was installed in a difficult location with a tall chimney mounted on the back of it. Various pipework systems had to be removed and altered to allow safe removal of the unit.

We contacted Logos Logistics to quote for the project. An estimator arrived on site, surveyed the job, we got a quotation and the task was soon underway. The method statements, risk assessments and on site paperwork were perfect, the operatives were experienced, courteous and professional. Over the period of a few hours the boiler was removed, chimney down, loaded and ready for transport to our plant.

Our experience with Logos was good, the project was executed well and we would have no hesitation in using logos again. We wish this company all the best in the future and are sure any contract they carry out will be conducted to the best of their ability.
